What our Regional Registered Nurses do

  • Provide primary care and emergency services to clients.
  • Assess, diagnose, and dispense medication within the scope of practice.
  • Coordinate treatment plans and referrals
  • Work collaboratively with Public Health to support and promote access to programs through the appropriate channels, such as:
    • Prenatal education and support
    • Parenting
    • Breastfeeding
    • Child and school health programs
    • Immunizations
    • Travel and lifestyle clinics
    • Physical health and wellbeing
    • Sexual health and wellness
    • Mental health and addictions support
    • Rehabilitation
    • Communicable disease surveillance
    • Long-term care support
    • Caregiver support
  • Emergency on-call, medevacs

Are you ready for your next adventure?

We're looking for candidates who

  • Have graduated from an approved registered nursing program
  • 2+ years acute care experience within the past 5 years (ER, ICU, regional, or outpost nursing)
  • Class V Driver’s License
  • Current BLS certification is required; specialized training in ACLS, TNCC, PALS, NRP, Medevac, and Outpost Nursing Program is an asset
